On Saturday afternoon when the wind was blowing and the temperature was freezing – I had the wonderful opportunity of attending Sexy Foods first workshop at their restaurants t in town. The workshop was all about learning how to grow your own sprouts as well as how to make kimchi and kraut.
According to Sexy Foods website, they describe their space as – A timeless art kitchen where ancient methods meet modern minds. Home to a diverse ecosystem of live-culture foods, umami flavours, mighty microbes, vibrant sprout systems, urban indigenous garden, raw local wooden interior, pink Himalayan salt crystal bricks, minimal packaging, a full-circle zero waste system, alkaline water filters, miso barrel seats, oak kombucha brew vats, earthy ceramic crockpots for pickling, hand-thrown energetic glass pourers, on-tap bubbling culture bar. Its a food combining alchemists dream, where Real Live Pro-biotics multiply right in the heart of the bustling mother city. A synchronistic blend of food and art reflect mans inherent connection to nature.
