Watermelon provokes feelings of happiness, sunshine and summer bliss. The sweet flavour of watermelon makes this smoothie an essential for your summer menu. These Watermelon smoothies contain Chia seeds which add essential omega oils and the coconut water provides great hydration for those hot summer days spent in the sun.
Prep Time: 5 minutes
1 Cup Fresh Watermelon pieces (seeds removed)
1 teaspoon Chia seeds
½ Cup Coconut water
1. Place all ingredients in blender
2. Blend until smooth
3. Serve with ice
Add ice to the blender add the same time to create a slush consistency.
You can freeze the banana before hand (cut the banana into slices and freeze the slices) which will also add a slushy consistency when blended.
